At one time the Hotel “Lo Spedalicchio”, was frequented by pilgrims who came to Assisi to pray at the tomb of St. Francis. It is a fully-renovated noble countryside residence from the seventeenth century, named after the town in which it was erected. A place rich in history that still retains the charm of a medieval castle, the ancient palace leans against an original defensive tower and boasts a renaissance portal stone-entrance. Twenty-five rooms with high vaulted-ceilings are located on the spacious noble floor and in the two lateral towers, where the roof is supported by wooden trusses.
The rooms, divided between “Standard”, “Superior” and “Deluxe” are furnished with solid wood furniture, typical fabrics and Deruta ceramics with summer and winter air conditioning, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, telephone, TV with digital free wifi.
They feature the modern comforts of heating and air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower, telephone, satellite TV and Wi- Fi.
The Deluxe is distinguished by its particularly large size, vaulted stucco ceilings and a 32-inch flat-screen TV.
The Superior Room has been renovated in a modern style, with all of the amenities.
The Standard Room is simpler, yet welcoming.
The Family Room is ample, which makes it perfectly suited for a family holiday, as it accommodates up to five guests.
Pets of small and medium size allowed with request except for the Christmas and New Year period, there is a supplement to be paid at the hotel, it is not allowed to leave the animals alone in the room except in the hours in which customers take advantage of the breakfast / lunch or dinner, are not allowed in the common areas of the structure if not the transit (eg: breakfast room-restaurant-bar-hall.), it is not allowed to sleep the animals on the beds, it is not possible to use blankets sheets etc. as a kennel for animals, our guests are allowed to bring their own kennel in their assigned accommodation. Any damage caused by one’s own animals or improper use of the accommodation will be charged as a refund.
